"Hey Pat,
Thanks so much for the photos of Mac at the Doggercise classes. That is surely going the extra mile. We had a good time, learned a lot (me probably more than Mac) on how to change behaviors and took away some good tips for the future.
Thanks again for the help we needed to be a 'happy family.' Sincerely," -- Phyllis, Buford, Georgia

"Why did we call Super Dooper Dog Training? Well, we got a puppy at Thanksgiving. We were doing the training ourselves, and he was doing great. He was potty-trained in two weeks. He would even grab his toys out of his bed, play with them and then carry them back to his bed before checking out another toy. Then, we hit a snag. When it got dark outside and Comet was in the backyard, he would not go from the backyard into the house. We tried everything. We decided it was time for Super Dooper Dog Training to come to our rescue.
I called and made an appointment and conveyed our problem. Pat Mitchell came to our house to do training. When she arrived, she gave our dog, Comet, the opportunity to get to know her in a non-threatening way. She was all prepared. She had hand-outs regarding the "call to come" and other informational material explaining the techniques we would be using to get out problem resolved. We went outside and practiced with him. It was amazing. She got our son involved and interested in the training. That was all it took. From that day on, we've had no problem getting him to come inside at night. Practice, positive expectations, and praise were all it took.
As for the trainer, Pat Mitchell, she is an excellent trainer. She loves dogs, provides encouragement to both the pet owner and pet, and makes the training a pleasure. In our opinion, Pat is Super Dooper and the training was definitely worth the money." --

"I had the privilege of having Pat Mitchell as my first Dog Trainer for my new puppy, Eugene. He is my first puppy and as a first time dog owner, I was more than anxious about trying to do the right type of training for Eugene so he would be a well-balanced puppy. I knew nothing about having a puppy so I immediately searched for some answers.
I could not be happier with my decision to follow Pat's, Super Dooper Training Regiment, and I hope that we can continue with more advanced training, as I believe that Eugene is a happier and healthier puppy with discipline in his life."

"My wife and I have known Ms. Mitchell for nearly three years as a neighbor, friend and of most importance as the trainer of our young English Setter, Belle, and consultant with respect to our "special needs" adult English Setter, named Charley..
Belle is a very active and inquisitive Laverick English Setter and Ms. Mitchell's constant companion and helper in our training work has been her Canine Good Citizen dog, Dooper, a Llewellyn English Setter about a year older than our Belle.
It is important to us to have Belle become a well behaved companion to us, to listen to us, to walk properly on a lead, and to be a polite young lady when introduced to strangers. We enjoy outdoor cafés and we want Belle to join us at our side and be able to deal with the assorted distractions that might come her way. In short, our goal is to have Belle become pleasant company and as well behaved as Dooper.
Ms. Mitchell and Dooper are making all of this possible. In addition to her obvious skills as a trainer, Ms. Mitchell has an uncanny presence with dogs and the dogs sense that. Ms. Mitchell and her husband, a producer of videos and DVDs, have produced an excellent training video entitled "Teach That Dog" that is both instructive and hugely entertaining.
Sincerely," --

"After having tried books, and the shallow depths of our personal experience, we turned to Pat at Super Dooper Dog Training to get our young 5 month old golden retriever Tybee, trained and well behaved. In only 3 weeks, we noticed a vast improvement in his behavior and his manners. He went from a rebellious, chew-crazy puppy to an attentive, Super-Dooper mannered young adult. The vet believed that Tybee would grow to be near a hundred pounds when full-grown, so my wife and I recognized the need to have him well behaved and mannered - and Super Dooper Dog Training has certainly delivered!
After the third week, we took Tybee on a trip for the holidays to visit family where he was continuously amongst new experiences, distractions and people. Everyone that met him said that he was "perfect". This is something that you cannot put a price tag on and we are eternally grateful to Pat at Super Dooper Dog Training for teaching us how to raise Tybee as a great canine citizen!"

The classes were outstanding and as a result Kona is a much more disciplined pet, and thus is a more enjoyable companion as a result. "My husband and I adopted an adorable puppy last May. Lexie is so precious, loving and sweet. Like all puppies, she sure needed some structure, and we just weren't sure exactly what our role was. She would jump on our guests, pull while walking and very often she didn't do what we told her to do. One day, my mom tried to take her on a short walk and came back inside and said "I can't walk her, she's all over the place!" So, my mom decided that getting some training from Pat Mitchell and Super Dooper Dog Training would be a wonderful Christmas gift for Joe, Lexie and me. I am so glad she did!
We had such a wonderful time training with Pat. Pat trained us what our role is so that we can turn Lexie into our perfect pup. We learned so many new things. Dogs are so trainable, but we, the handlers, must learn the proper techniques.
Lexie loved the mental stimulation and was so excited every time we pulled into Pat's driveway. Since training with Pat, Lexie's manners have improved immensely. She walks beautifully on a leash, she rarely jumps on people and even when she does she catches herself, and she generally does what we ask. We did not know what to expect when we began training, but we can honestly say that the program exceeded our expectations and it was an absolutely wonderful investment of our time. Now we can enjoy our precious Lexie even more for years to come!
Thank you Pat!" --

"I bought a German Shepherd Dog puppy, Mitzi, for my family and shortly after thought I had made the biggest mistake! I was not a "dog" person and was not enjoying the experience. Fortunately, Pat Mitchell with Super Dooper Dog Training came to my rescue.
Pat exceeded my expectations by not only coming to my house to train Mitzi, but also giving us the proper treats, toys, reading material, and confidence that we could make it work. Pat also trained my 9 year old son and 5 year old daughter on how to react to Mitzi and handle our dog in general.
We decided to enroll the whole family in the Super Good Puppy class series. Mitzi is now 4 months old and she obeys several commands from any one of our family members and is enjoying Pat's puppy training class.
It thrills me to say that I really do enjoy my dog Mitzi now thanks to Pat. Pat's knowledge, spirit, devotion, and professionalism make me want to recommend her to anyone looking for the perfect trainer!" --

"Pat is a super trainer who is full of energy and enthusiasm! She is wonderfully easy to work with and it's always clear that she loves what she does! Her classes are set up in such a way that makes learning really fun! I really appreciate how committed Pat is to helping you create the best relationship you can have with your dog! She always makes herself available to answer questions, and discuss any issues you need help with for your dog!
Pat is great at helping you understand your dog and tailoring techniques to each individual dog! Her goal is to develop your dog to its full potential! You always feel encouraged when you leave class, and know that Pat will show you how to help your dog be the best they can be! Each and every dog is important to Pat and her goal is to help you achieve all of your goals for your dog!
We also really love the class size and individual attention you get! The small class size gives you lots of time to practice, and the chance for Pat to really help each person and their dog to learn the goal! It's also fun because you get the chance to know the other dogs in your class too! Unlike a big class, here, you get to know each other's dogs by name and their personalities! It's really wonderful because everyone in class is always so encouraging and proud of your dog when they complete their commands!
Pat creates a real team feeling in the classes! She shows you great tools that make your life so much easier, and you will walk away from class wondering what you ever did without all of this knowledge! Taking Pat's classes has been so beneficial for us and our dogs! We better understand our dogs and apply techniques we learned from Pat in our daily lives! We are so happy that our dogs, Rigley and McKenzie, are Super Dooper students and would recommend anyone go to Super Dooper Dog Training for training!
If you want a happy, well behaved dog, and are looking for a caring, fun instructor, this is the training class for you! We give Pat and her super cute assistant, Dooper, four paws up! --
